A leading manufacturer of motorcycle accessories, the client wanted a top case lock that could be controlled via smartphone. A very practical and attractive application for the market.

The client had never had to develop or integrate electronics into one of its products. A fruitful dialogue was therefore undertaken to ferry the client into this new world and enrich its know-how in terms of communication protocols, signals and safety implementations.

Through Intea's network of partners, a pre-existing Bluetooth module was sourced and adapted to the specific needs of the application. Painstaking study sessions with the client made it possible to devise suitable solutions for fitting the device into the plastic structure of the top case, respecting its design and innovating its functionality.

The production launch of the new model was particularly quick and effective, thanks to mutual trust and experience in the respective fields.
