We continually challenge ourselves to change reality and create efficient, optimized, durable products. Innovating is exceeding expectations, together.
Taking advantage of the Hall effect, some semiconductor manufacturers have created cheap and extremely small silicon chips capable of detecting the presence and intensity of a magnetic field.
This type of sensor is particularly reliable and robust. Intea, through the use of carefully selected sensitive elements and through an R&D department with expertise in mechanics, electronics and magnetic field simulation, creates sensors capable of operating in hostile environments in the presence of dust, dirt, high temperatures, in contact with fluids under pressure.
The success of this technology is linked to the possibility of making measurements without direct physical contact between the sensor and the moving target.
Furthermore, it is a very flexible technology capable of accepting wide ranges of supply voltage, for this reason Hall effect sensors are very widespread and find application in various sectors.
Intea manufactures angular, linear, position, speed and direction hall effect sensors.

Microcontroller technology has been widely used for years to create electronic controls, an activity that Intea has developed as its core business since its inception.
Thanks to this technology it is possible to incorporate complex logics inside the sensors, allowing the implementation of increasingly advanced functions.
Through the microcontroller, the sensors become intelligent to respond to the various application needs.
Today we therefore speak of Smart Sensors since the sensors are designed beyond the simple need to send switching or measurement signals and their use extends to predictive maintenance logics of plants also integrating complex machine learning algorithms.
Intera has long matured microcontroller technology and today applies it to all types of sensors.
